3VF Drives

Elevator System Upgrades

Variable Voltage Variable Frequency Drives, commonly refered to as 3VF Drives or VVVF Drives, are used to regulate input voltage and frequency when a lift is in motion. The 3VF Drive will draw less current when the lift is accelerating or decelerating, producing a superior ride quality and better leveling.

We use Keb drives on the following types of projects:

  • When using ECD Controllers
  • Up to 15 floors
  • 6 car group
  • Speeds up to 1.75M/Sec

  • With LiSA Controllers
  • Machine room less lifts
  • Lifts with speeds over 1.75M/Sec up to 3.5M/Sec
